The Perfect 3-Day Ibiza Itinerary for a Relaxing Getaway

Ibiza, Spain

If you're looking to experience a slower, more laid-back side of Ibiza, this three-day itinerary is the perfect escape. Forget the party scene – we spent three days discovering beautiful beaches, incredible food and the most peaceful boutique hotel.

We booked an early morning flight on the Tuesday, which I'd definitely recommend. Not only are the earlier flights often cheaper, but arriving early means you get almost a full extra day to enjoy the island.

Our first stop was Can Domo, a stunning boutique hotel just a short drive from the airport. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful, luxurious and full of charm, I couldn't recommend it enough. After checking in, we spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool, squeezing in a quick afternoon nap before ordering a few poolside snacks – the perfect way to ease into holiday mode.

That evening, we headed into Ibiza Old Town for dinner at La Olivia, a restaurant we'd heard so many good things about. The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and the setting couldn't have been more picturesque. While we really enjoyed our meal, it is on the pricier side, and with so many amazing restaurants nearby, I'm not sure we'd rush back. After dinner, we wandered through the charming streets of the Old Town and finished the evening with an ice cream while soaking up the atmosphere.

The following morning, after a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we drove to Cala Llonga Beach, which is only a short drive away. Ibiza is home to some of the most beautiful beaches, so I'd definitely recommend spending at least one day exploring them. Cala Llonga itself is fairly quiet with not a huge amount going on, but the crystal-clear water and surrounding scenery made it the perfect spot to relax for the day. That evening, we decided to stay at the hotel, enjoying a chilled evening and making the most of the peaceful surroundings.

On our final day, we had booked lunch at Casa Jondal, somewhere that had been on our list for a long time. I'd highly recommend booking well in advance as it fills up quickly, but it's absolutely worth it. The beachfront setting is stunning, making it one of the most beautiful lunch spots on the island. The food was incredible too – the freshly baked bread served with warm butter has to be one of the best things I've ever eaten. We also shared the calamari, broccoli and beef carpaccio, and every dish was exceptional.

Ibiza is so often known for its nightlife, but this trip completely changed our perspective. We discovered a quieter side of the island filled with boutique hotels, beautiful beaches and unforgettable food. If you're looking for a relaxing three-day escape, Ibiza should definitely be on your list.
